Emily and Cem knew of each other through mutual friends, but it was almost a year before Emily would agree to go on their first date. That day was November 21, 2017.

While Cem traveled for work in the oil and gas industry and Emily was in restaurant management, their relationship evolved quickly and their lives were never the same. They became inseparable and have enjoyed many life experiences together.

On July 23, 2018, Cem proposed to Emily during a family vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC.

While a wedding was always part of the plan, their two greatest blessings arrived in 2018 and 2020…Paisley Grace and Emma Jane. And while it’s not traditional, they are happy to not only celebrate their marriage with family and friends, but also with both of their daughters who will be their flower girls.
